DIY Herb Oil Toothpowder
We ingest 33% of the toothpaste we use as we brush our teeth. Sounds freaky right? So instead of spending money on expensive commercial toothpaste while being unmindful of the bad effects to our body, try making your own homemade toothpowder made out of herb oil. Not only does this help remineralize teeth; it can also kill bacteria and cleans teeth naturally and inexpensively.
Adding oils to this DIY Herb Oil Toothpowder also have does have benefits plus it makes toothpowder taste better. Clove helps with pain and helps get rid of bad breath. Peppermint tastes great and soothes the gums. If you don’t feel comfortable using the oils feel free to add 1/2 teaspoon of fine ground dried herbs.

- 3 TBS bentonite clay
- 1/4 tsp charcoal
- 1/8 tsp real salt or Celtic salt
- 5-10 drops essential oil (clove or peppermint)
- 1 small jar
Place all the ingredients in a small jar and shake until mixed.
When you it’s ready to use, moisten your toothbrush and add a pinch or two of this herb oil toothpowder.
Remember though that is is not advised to dip your brush directly in the powder as this can lead to bacteria growth, spoil the product, and pass germs onto family members who may be sharing the same jar. Try making and using this DIY Herb Oil Toothpowder and start flashing that killer smile!
